LIFTED WINGS LEARNING, LLC was founded to champion the unique educational needs of students with language-based learning differences and to partner with their caregivers in the design of optimized home learning environments.
GREER, the founder, holds a Bachelor of Arts language degree from Yale University and was trained in the Orton-Gillingham multisensory approach to reading, writing, and spelling under a Fellow of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators. She has graduate-level training in K-6 Multisensory Math interventions and in academic therapies to help students improve their executive functioning and metacognitive strategies for learning.
Since 2013 she has specialized in designing differentiated educational programs and optimized learning environments for dyslexic students in grades K-6 in her role as a home educator. She enjoys investigating the emerging field of neuroeducation, advocating for the needs of nontraditional learners, and offering support and encouragement to concerned parents of such learners.
Greer enjoys helping learners gain confidence in their academic abilities and make new connections that bring content alive for them in ways that they learn best.
